I was the last passenger ... Iam extremely disappointed with my experience with Intercape and the way my complaint has been handled. I travelled from Johannesburg to Cape Town on an Intercape Sleepliner. I was the last passenger to get off the bus because I had several belongings with me. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my money bag on the bus. The bag contained R1,000 in cash. After realising that I had left the bag behind, I immediately went to the Intercape office to report the matter. The bus had already left, but I was informed that the driver had found my bag and that it would be handed over to the next driver for me. When I received my bag, I discovered that R1,000 was missing. What concerns me most is that the money was in the bag when I left it on the bus, and the bag was later found and handled by Intercape staff. I therefore expected Intercape to conduct a proper investigation into what happened to my money. I have already sent emails to Intercape requesting an explanation and the return of my money, but I have not received a proper response or meaningful update. I am a student with no other source of income, so R1,000 is a significant amount of money to me. I am not asking for anything unreasonable—I simply want Intercape to investigate what happened and take responsibility for resolving the matter. I hope Intercape will take customer complaints seriously, investigate the matter properly, and provide me with an explanation regarding my missing R1,000. Very disappointing customer service and handling of a serious complaint.

I loved the driver's sense of humor about using the toilet for a number 2 which he said was a strict NO NO😜

I had a good experience, the drivers were friendly, the bus was on time and the stops we were given was fair, the chair was also comfortable it was easy to sleep like everything was top tier even the ... I would definitely recommend Intercape all the way.

The first bus was late and it broke down along the way. We had to drive from Upington to Pretoria with no aircon the one in the roof had to be opened and that strong wind was blowing on my head the wh ... The first bus was late and it broke down along the way. We had to drive from Upington to Pretoria with no aircon the one in the roof had to be opened and that strong wind was blowing on my head the whole trip. On both trips drivers rushed us on our so called breaks although we sat for 10+ hours without any stop while toilets were smelly and extremely dirty. Bus was extremely full and we had to beg for the aircon to be switched on for some form of ventilation. The treatment was inhumane.

Very cramped and uncomfortable. The bus driver did not speak English when addressing the bus I could not understand a word. Our bus also was over 2 hours late reaching Heidelberg even though the bus l ... Very cramped and uncomfortable.
